Chamber

Let us say there’s a chamber
with a big wooden door
Lit candles red carpets
To cover the floor

And people are laughing
Some hug and some kiss
Some are standing alone
cause that’s just how it is

Let us say there’s a table
Set to drink and to dine
Fellas raising their glasses
Women dressed up to shine

Some people tell stories
Say they came here first
Some fake fascination
Cause that’s just how it works

When silence is heard
As they see a man enter,
Who without a word
Takes his place in the centre
Then gently wipes dust off his chair…
The company is mystified
Say:“He can’t just go and sit there”

Let us say there is music
with a rythm so sweet
And the pulse is increasing
Encouraged by heat

And people are dancing
Lifted in air
Some-try-to stay grounded
But most of em don’t care

When silence is heard
As they see a man enter,
Who without a word
Takes  place in the centre
Then gently wipes dust off his chair…
The company’ is mystified
Say:“He can’t just go and sit there”

But he does and you do
For they missed a part
But he does and you do
For they missed a part
Being guest
In the chamber of my heart
